Mikoshi Japanese Steakhouse on Hampton Avenue in Pickens is an excellent stop for all things hibachi and sushi. I really like the location and how easy it is to order what you need and get everything ready. The food here is fresh, delicious, and well prepared. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you are happy and have everything that you need. This place is a nice surprise and worth the visit.
The hibachi is decent. Itd be nice if they had mushroom with the hibachi. Also their ginger sauce was like gelatin and not very flavorful. With as many hibachi places available nowadays mitosis could step it up a little.
It's actually sad how many people think this place is good not only is the portion horrible for the price but half the time the meat may be cooked fresh but doesn't taste it at all. The price is ridiculousness for the amount of food.
Best Japanese food I have ever had!
The rice bowl is outstanding here. So glad I found this joint!
