It's great to have an actual trail (vs a paved walking track) nearby, and I go there often with my dogs. It is easy terrain with no real elevation, so great for an afternoon with the pups, but not challenging for experienced hikers. The recent addition of rocks in the parking area is not ankle friendly. Be careful!

The walking trail is beautiful, and I have many amazing pictures to prove it. However, when I returned to my vehicle (March 11, 2021) someone had broken into my car and tried to steal it. I filed a police report, and gave them the knife the two guys used to break open my passenger door, and ream out the ignition. With no surveillance, the parking area is a free-for-all for vandals and hoodlums. If you have an older vehicle, DO NOT leave it unattended in that parking area. I live an hour away, and just had my car towed home. Thank you to the person who showed up to walk before I made it back out and scared them off. This puts me off enjoying anything in Anderson, as car break-ins and thefts have evidently been on the rise with older cars. And I will not be returning to this park, regardless of the serene walk and the wildlife.

Lots of nice little trails. Quite muddy sometimes, but lots of good picnic spots and nice frogs. Easy to walk with kids.

We love RRNP! There are lot's of hiking trails that meander along the water, and forest. You can hike, bike or jog. Best part is is right outside of downtown, so perfect place to walk the dogs.

Absolutely love this place. It's a little local gym for a decent hike in a place where the closet nature trail is roughly 30 to 45 minute away. 4 stars instead of 5 due to the fact that the project hasnt changed mu h over the last 4 years. I really hope there is funding behind it soon because in Anderson this really is all we have if you want to just go down the road and enjoy a nature trail alone, with friends or with the pops. Great spots for meditation or to allow your dogs to play in the creek. The creek itself has clear water and doesnt seem to the eye to be that dirty. Love this place and although I'm no longer on the east coast definitely somewhere I will visit regularly with my fur babies whenever returning home.
