Shawnee Drivers License Division

im 42 yrs old,been driving for 22yrs not in the USA,i believe that there were discrimination towards me,as 1st a migrant and a black man,the way those 2 females was doing the driving test as my 2 examiners,one was seated in the front with me,and the other one was in the back seat,i failed,cause one said that i hit the bar while backing up doing the paralel packing which i didnt,cause my car as beep sound to warn you whenever u backing up,to let you know u getting too close to an object,which i knew it,then i stop,and straight my car✍ud83cudffdud83dude21ud83dude21

They were very friendly and even with sitting outside for a few hours but wasn't bad at all

Today I went to this place early morning to renew my DL and since I am not a permanent resident yet. The DMV uses a link called SAVE that is provided by the homeland security in order for them to check the status of the person renewing their license. I stayed in line for 3 hours to get a ticket and to see DMV officer Mr. Brown.nAs soon as I got to his desk and told him I need to renew my license he said SAVE is down and he cannot do anything for me without checking anything. Then he tells me to write down my info for him and he will call me to come when it is up running again. So I did that and he asked me to stay around Shawnee and wait for his call. It is 10:30 Am when I left the DMV and waited in my car until 11:30 AM but I didn’t get any call. Btw it is my third day trying to get this license renewed and everywhere is crowded even though I went to OKC branch at 4 AM the day before. At 11:30 Am I went to dmv and asked them if it was up they said no. I went back to town and waited until 2:30 PM but got no call from them. I called the Chickasha, Lawton, and OKC office to ask whether SAVE was working for them or not. They all said it is working and they are using it. I came back to dmv and asked them if it was running Mr. brown said no it is not working if it was he would call me. I politely asked him if he could check because the other places that were using it when I called. He replied: GO ASK THEM TO DO THE JOB, I AM NOT GETTING PAID ENOUGH TO CHECK THAT in a rude way. Then I asked why he is there and working if he is not happy with the pay he is receiving? He said nothing and closed the door on my face. I told him that I work for the state too and I accepted the job happily and I am doing my best to proved the best service to everyone and I make sure people get clean and safe water in my district why can’t these people do their job, it is the job they accepted to do ethically. I told him I will wait in the rain until someone take care of my case. After 45 mins waiting in the rain he came out and asked me for my documents and told me I can’t go inside he will have his boss do the work. I agreed and waited in the rain until he boss 30 mins laters came out and gave me the renewal letter. Some of these people either bias against other people or they don’t want to do the job. Either way this place was a bad experience. Mr. Brown don’t work there if you are not happy with the salary state is giving you, let someone else who will do the job. Thank you.

The lady was very nice and helpful with my son's permit test. We both were very happy that he passed!

Was there at 4am didnt need to get out and stand in line till 6am. They open at 8 but got my info at 730 by 830 i was done and headed on my way, definitely way faster then any of the DMV's in the city
