My first visit to Tishomingo, Oklahoma was on April 6, 2018 with several carloads of friends. Our first stop was the visitor center where we bought matching t-shirts, got directions, and used the facilities.nWe then went up the street and had a wonderful dinner at GONZALEZ MEXICAN RESTAURANT which graciously accommodated our large group.nI hope to make another visit there again someday.nDeborah K Parker-McGeenSouthwestern Pennsylvania USA
This building is just beautiful with lots of natural light, wood and stone accents, and high ceilings. They offer a deal of the month in the gift shop area, free coffee daily, and public restrooms, plus a nice sitting area outside to enjoy good weather and a chat with friends. There is so much free literature about area attractions, local businesses, and Chickasaw facilities just waiting to be grabbed up. You have to see for yourself!
The staff here are very helpful, friendly and constructive. They were a wealth of information to us and some 'local tips' they gave us were invaluable.
Awesome visitors center! Love Tishomingo!!
