Plus the owner Amy and the staff she has working there are the nicest, kindest, sweetest humans alive. When ever I go to Sassafras I know I will leave with something (or multiple things) cute and well made and not only that, but I will leave with a warm glow in my heart, because that's just how this store makes me feel.nShop here.nYou won't regret it!

Great collection of stylish clothes.

I love this place! Used to live a few blocks from it, and then discovered that one of my instructors in fashion design school worked there, so I started visiting whenever I walked by. The owner is a very cool friendly lady from Texas. Down in the basement there are four (five?) on-site designers, and everything sold here was designed and produced locally (either Seattle or Portland). Good selection of jewelry and accessories as well. Comfy dressing room with a couch.
