Best place for a waterfall hike. It's rated at tough but it's worth the effort.nTip: download offline maps of this place and surrounding areas all the way from Asheville; it's about 90mb but worth it. You lose network in the hills.

I thought that the waterfall was beautiful.Although I do recommend that people take precautions because the wet rocks are very slippery and it is a very steep fall. I fell into the fall myself when I was there. I hit the rocks and I had to figure out a way to get back up by my self it was almost impossible. I highly recommend every one bring a rope strong enough to hold a person’s weight and long enough just in case someone falls. It is a little dangerous and there is no signs indicating the danger of slipping

Girlfriend suggested this awesome place for a hike. We were visiting from Asheville and had a 9 year old with us that really enjoyed it too. Come prepared with basic necessities for a hike and possibly a towel to dry of if you decide to take a dip in some of the swimming holes ud83dudd73 along the way. By far one of my favorite trails. Started thundering about half way through so we decided to cut it short. We’ll b back.

I enjoyed visiting Paradise Falls. I didn't know what to expect and it was amazing just the steep hike down and back up. It wasn't as bad as I initially expected, but it was well worth the hike.

Rough trail. Don't take little kids. Steep climbs and you have to cross over water, so take that into consideration. You will end up with a complete body workout...but be aware of the dangers.
