It's hard to imagine how this park rated as a 4 + Star Park? With Jackson Park dog park so close and so much Superior it is hard to imagine why anyone would bring their dog here unless they can't take the time to drive the 6-minute to the park with a river, trees, plenty of room to run and probably 30 to 40 times the size! the pens are small and depending on the size of your dog there is not even enough room for them to get up to speed. I call them pens because they really aren't even large enough to qualify as parks. My backyard was bigger than both of them. So unless you only have a few moments of time, don't like your dog, or are walking...nYou should make the six-minute drive to the Jackson Park Dog Park and let your dog have the time of its life!

Plenty of parking. Nice fence includes a small entry yard with two gates to prevent escape. A few scattered benches and nice grass. Two section to divide large and small dogs. Good place to stop and let the dogs run.

We always meet up with Jazzy's sister from another mother bff, Elsie and they have a blast. Wish there was some agility equipment to expose them too. Quick and convenient to downtown and we will continue to enjoy.

I have been taking my furbabies there for 6 years i love this place.who ever is in charge for the maintenance does really good.my only complaint is though that some people who bring their furbabys here dont clean up after their pet and they let their big furbabies on the small dog side.i have had to leave a few times when i bring my furbabies because there has been big dogs on both sides and some owners wouldnt put their dogs with the big ones so my small babies wouldnt be scared.

Clean, well-maintained, ample parking, lots of shade, and fresh water. Two dog runs, one for larger dogs and another for smaller doggos. I love taking my foster doggies here!
