Makayla did an awesome job on my hair! I can honestly say that this is the best haircut that I have ever had. My color is spot-on as well. I'm so glad I finally found a great stylist

I had an appointment today at 10 am but also had an emergency conference call so I asked my hairstylist Allie if I could possibly come at 11am then she sent me her cancellation policy which is ridiculous 50% of what your services cost go to her if you cancel which in my case was $70 ud83dudc40 cause my total cost was going to be $140. But anyways I never told her I was canceling I just needed to know if I could move it up an hour. I saw her policy at 9:49am as soon as she sent it and I text her back right away at 9:49am saying I was on my way! Got here at the salon at 9:50 am she wasn’t here but I was on my conference call. So I didn’t see where she texted me at 9:52am saying sorry this isn’t going to work I want to stop you before you get too far. I was already there waiting while on the conference call so I continued to wait 10:15am the owner says Allie won’t be able to do your hair today maybe y’all can reschedule. Okay that’s fine so then I leave. Got a notification in the parking lot that I have a cancellation fee of $70 wait a minute I never canceled! so I walk back in and have the owner explain it to me and she says she rents her own booth and she don’t have control over that okay but I was here waiting! Bottom line they won’t take the $70 that is my money and put it towards my hair to get done 2 weeks away from my wedding and then I’m just out $70 because I asked if I could move my appointment up an hour not knowing that was me canceling. I will never return and don’t recommend this place to anyone! My first hair appointment was okay only thing is my hair dresser Allie was 20 mins late to my appointment the first time just seems to me they should have a policy about coming into there appointment 30 mins or even 15 mins before they actually have an appointment instead of coming in right at time or late! Understand time is money but having your client sit around in a place waiting for 20 mins isn’t professional nor is it good for first time impressions! This Bride is not happy with there poor service! Oh and P.S before making any appointment make sure you review all policies don’t just check mark ✅ that you’ve read them. Really who actually reads that? Thank you ivy salon for teaching me a lesson!

Best salon I have ever visited! Tiffany gave me a color correction and a Brazilian blowout. After washing my hair, I didn't even have to use a brush or flat iron and it looked like I just walked out of her salon. Tiffany, Lisa and Samantha are all very talented! I highly recommend The Ivy Salon!

The Ivy Salon has the best stylists in the Greater Charlotte area!! I have been a customer of Tiffany for about 10 years. I will never go to anyone else. They are up to date, easy to work with and take the time to understand my needs and make it happen. They are the best of the best!!
