Citizen is the best breakfast spot in town. My wife and I ate regularly here and we love the sweet or salty options they have. From traditional eggs and sausage to crepes and pancakes, Citizen adds an interesting take that makes it unique and enjoyable. If you visit you have to try their barrel aged maple latte, it is terrific!

Fantastic neighborhood coffee shop, eatery and bier garden. Casual, comfy and plenty of outdoor seating. Great foods...from sweet and savory waffles to delicious sandwiches and incredible fusion tacos. And drinks! Besides the wonderful coffee, you can choose from many different beers and spirits...or daily specials like Monday Mules and Tuesday Margaritas for $6. Best of all, the staff always makes us feel welcome...and at home.

Breakfast and the scene here is great. A favorite evening place of mine. The service was very kind and attentive. This place has a cool design. Reminds me of a restaurant in Philadelphia that I enjoyed.

THEY DON’T HAVE CREPES. Just want to make that clear for anyone, like myself, who goes here in hopes of having a crepe. For that -1 star. I thought the food was pretty good and so did others in our group. More of a cafe quality though. I’m not eager to go back but I wouldn’t discourage others from going, I’d probably pop in occasionally if I lived close by but I don’t. I think they could improve their ordering layout. A group was ahead of us but it wasn’t clear what they were doing or where we should go to place our order. I’ve seen a lot of business who have done this much better since coronavirus and I think Citizen could really improve this. So for that -1 star.

This place is amazing. The time I discovered it on my way out of Queen Anne and decided to stop for a drink. Not only are they fairly priced (cocktails under $10-$11) and great beer selection, but they have a massive outdoor area with plenty of room to socially distant. The entire time I was here the owner was walking around enforcing the mask mandate and emptying trash cans, directing people to tables, and making sure her business was safe and running smoothly. I’ll definitely be back.
