Cordelia rescued me! My hair had grown out during the COVID pandemic but it was lacking any style or movement. She cut it to a length that could still be pulled back but now had shape and textures and movement. I will be back!

2 painful experiences. I took my daughter to get a haircut, and the stylist (think her name was Britney or Jessica?) chose not to take the tangles out, nor cut those sections of her hair, and informed me she can cut her hair when I bring her without tangles next time. Upon exiting and paying for the bill, I informed the owners and their only response was we’ll have a talk with her. No credit, no correction. Ended up taking my daughter to Ulta who spent quality time cutting her hair and getting the tangles out.nnMy second attempt, was my own color. The stylist (Kendal) dyed my brunette hair almost platinum blond! She kept saying no worries, toner will make it less dramatic. 3 tones later, and second trips back. I headed to the city and paid $200 to fix her mistakes and correct my severely damaged hair that I was so embarrassed for weeks! Informed owners again, and no corrective measures. Truly disappointing. I gave them 2 chances to treat me well.

Salty Hair Salon is a gem! I started planning my wedding from abroad and WAY in advance. Esther and her team put me at ease immediately and when my wedding day finally arrived it was no different. Despite needing to be in Manteo at 8:30am they were on time and handled a few scheduling changes on the day of with patience and poise ensuring all my girls were in every possible photo even when it meant pausing half way through. With 8 bridesmaids, MOB, MOG, and bridal hair to do and 8 girls for makeup they were still able to get everyone ready on-time! I cannot say thank you enough, everyone looked absolutely beautiful and I cannot wait to see how all the photos turned out! I could not be happier!! Thank you to the whole team that made my day unforgettable.

This is the best hair salon on the Outer Banks! Esther did a great job fading and cutting my hair. Esther was very friendly and made me feel welcomed from the time I arrived until I left. It was an incredible experience!
