My 12 y/o son is a super car enthusiast and he talked me into booking a 25 mile ride with Appalachian Driving Experience. There were several storms that passed through the region during the week that we visited Murphy. One of the owners, Kelly, spoke with me on the phone several times in order to coordinate the best time to take our ride. He was really friendly & accommodating with our schedule. We ended up doing our drive on Friday March 19th in the afternoon. Owners Mitch & Kelly drove the lead car while my son & I followed behind in a Porsche 992 convertible. We had great weather & the road we drove on was fantastic! I believe that I may have enjoyed this experience more than my son, especially since I was driving. This experience was definitely the highlight of our trip to NC. Kelly & Mitch were great hosts to us & we are so grateful to have had the time to spend with them. I highly recommend this driving experience to anyone who appreciates sports cars & driving them, especially if you don't own one of your own. My son is already planning on returning next year to drive in the turbo Porsche.

What an amazing experience! Kelly and Mitch were great hosts. I went on the 50 mile driving experience and the two hours flew by. I drove the 911 Turbo S-50 and am still amazed at its acceleration and how it gripped the road. I'm already planning a return trip so i can go on the all day excursion.

I can’t begin to explain how awesome this experience was! If you love cars, you absolutely have to do this. The guided experience is honestly better than you trying to go take the cars out on your own. Don’t let that deter you from doing this. I promise you’ll go plenty fast :) On top of that, the two gentlemen who own the business were very kind, and spoke to us in depth about the business and the passion behind it. I will absolutely be back!

What a fantastic experience. My wife and I did this on our anniversary and it was a blast. The 50 mile trip is perfect distance to start. I enjoyed it more than I could have imagined and so did my wife. Such friendly guys and amazing cars. I didn’t fully understand the difference of a Porsche until this experience. I am also a better driver now as a result.

I knew driving a brand new Porsche through the Appalachians would be fun, but I had no idea what I really signed up for. Four buddies and myself went today and I’ve never had more fun. It’s truly an experience of a lifetime and something I’d highly recommend if you enjoy fun! Thanks to Kelly and Mitch for an amazing day! Y’all were great!nnBill
