I had a case with DSS. Went threw 4 lawyers before we hired Beverly. Long story short, she got DSS out of my life and got my kids back home for me. Great lawyer and wonderful person. Would refer here to anyone, she knows her stuff!!

I wish there was a negative star rating!The worst lawyer I have ever had to deal with, Did not do anything I asked for, did not listen to me about my ex, which happens to be in jail now. I told her i needed to get my kids away from the mother and her new husband and instead of doing that she tried to quit on me, until she realized i already paid her 3,000. I begged her to get us in court and show the 11 page rap sheet of my exs new husband. Some of his charges are for dope, and domestic violence, Ms. Cook didnt seem to care, her main concern was her last 1000 i owed her. I have both of my boys now, thank god. Dss got involved and took the children from my ex and her husband. My exs lawyer and Ms.Cook came to an agreement to let my ex have the children back. The only thing Ms.Cook was able to get done in a 2 year period was have me pay for a Dna test for my boys that i know are mine, Start paying 200 child support, which she did not file the the right paperwork to even have that done right, and 10 days a month with my boys. Then she filed paperwork to quit. Which i was fine with, the funny part is they couldn't even send the paperwork to the right address, They ended up sending to my exes house. If you want to throw your money away, and have your children put in harms way, she is the lawyer for you. The crazy part is, now i have to hire another lawyer to reverse everything that MS. Beverly cook has done. Ill give her negative 5 stars for the waste of money, child endangerment, rudeness, and lack of compassion. I will be calling the bar on her.
