Simply beautiful. Road surface is awesome throughout the drive. Perfect environment for a touring getaway. So much to see and do within a few miles of the parkway.
some of the overlooks were so beautiful .......almost look fake like I was starting at a painting on a canvas
Nice overlook, can walk some of the mountains to sea trail also. Look for the white dot MTS
Lived up to the name Smoky as was some overcast. Still in wintertime can really see more than when trees in full leaf. Never realized before how much there is deciduous. Rhododendrons will be glorious in a few weeks.
