Links at Starkville

This place is HORRIBLE. You have to put in multiple requests and some still don’t get done. Our windows been leaking forever. Management is HORRIBLE. Before renting out here, please ask to see exactly what apartment you will be living in. Those models do not look like the apartment I’m in. The road are bad at the back, no number on mail box, and the buildings look a mess. They been promising to paint these building since I moved out here. I’ve gotten 20 emails saying a wash and paint will be approaching so move all items off the porch. I called and ask what happened to the painting (because they did do the wash down) they claim it was something with the weather so they would have to reschedule. (This was in like September and it’s March) I could go on and on. The only good part about The Links is the gym and the pool when it’s open.

Worst place to live in Starkville by far. Save your time and money and live anywhere else. Management is bad. Facilities aren’t great. Doesn’t feel safe. Pretty much everything about the links is bad.

Our daughter has lived here since 2019 while attending MSU. She loves it and we have been very pleased with the quick response to issues including an air conditioner that stopped working in July. We reported the problem at 3:00 on Saturday afternoon and they had someone there within 2 hours. The issue could not be fixed until Monday so they installed a portable air conditioner to get her through. She feels safe and doesn’t mind the 5 mile drive to school. I would highly recommend these apartments.

The management here is terrible. When i first moved here, had to keep on asking about the paperwork i need to do...even on the actual day i moved.nMy dryer stopped working in the first week and has stopped working two additional times since then, in 3 and a half months. I currently have screws poking out of my dryer machine from their attempts to fix it...they said they are unable to replace it because it can still be fixed. No concern for my constant inconvenience.nAs i type this, I will have to board a flight tomorrow with dirty clothes because I put in a request plus called 3 times to have the dryer fixed and it hasn't been.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Everything about my stay at The Links has been amazing. Our apartment is very clean, no major bug issues, if there were we would let them know and they would spray almost immediately. The apartments are spacious, quiet and beautiful. I have a two bedroom, two bathroom and I am so happy with it! I've read complaints about maintenance but I have NONE. They have fixed everything that I requested and literally within hours! The staff is so friendly always!! The pool/hot-tub/golf-course are wonderful things to have while living here. I came from out of state and am so happy to have found an apartment that is safe and clean. I can go on runs around the apartment complex, have beautiful golf course views from my balcony and enjoy peace and quiet of not having noisy neighbors. Thank you Links for everything. I unfortunately will be leaving this Spring but if I could stay I would stay here!!!
