KIDS FIRST Swim School - Bowie

We came here 4 years ago for mommy and me and I was very pleased with the staff and instructors. We just started back with private lessons. My kid screams and hollers the first 5 min of each lesson (sorry about thatud83eudd26ud83cudffe‍♀ufe0f). And the ride home he tells me how much fun he had and the new thing he did. Thank you for your patience and kindness. After a year of not being around anyone but family, this is quite an adjustment. And we appreciate the kindness.

Excellent place to teach your kids how to swim. The staff is very professional and always accommodating.

My kids attend 2 classes there for beginners..not the place to be for a 4 year old if it's their 1st time in the water and learning. My 4 year old and 8 year old was in the same classes ratio 4 to one. Multiple classes going on at the same time in the pool. place is small per classes. My kids instructor seems to have no experience in warming kids up to the water or their fear since it's their 1st time. All the intrusctor kept on saying is I'm not going to force her I'm not going to force her and she was kinda put off to the side. If you decide to try it they will not refund you the rest of the days. They will say you have store credit. It was weird the 4 year old and 8 year old was in the same . What helped my final decision in pulling my children from the class. my child fell reached out and grabbed another child which pulled her down too under the water. Instructor got on my child I watched allowed the intrusctor to educated my 4 year old. My child did not want to wall next to the girl anymore she tried to walk by her bro..Intrusctor was not having it talked to her some more. Eventually my child was pushed to the corner. Then she had a water toy squirted the young girl who had a swimming cap on her head then decided to squirt my daughter who had no swimming cap on her head. her hair got wet. she didnt like that. how can you not see she was not wearing a swimming cap.

Kids First Swim School in Bowie is Awesome!!! The staff is extremely friendly and professional, and the Manager, Brandon, will go above and beyond any expectations to satisfy its customers and make sure the kids are well taken care at all times while they are learning how to swim. I have both of my boys signed up for weekly swimming lessons and their progresses are fascinating! They would not put a foot in the water when they started, but through a lot of psychology and great work, their instructor succeeded to make them confident and taught them how to enjoy to evolve in the water. Every week,our kids are now begging us to go to their swimming lesson so they can enjoy touching the deep bottom of the swimming pool! I highly recommend this place, it's a A+ and you won't be disappointed!!!
