Every once in a while, I have to remind myself that this park exists. And then I trek up the major Alamo heights hills to this beautiful view of the city, to reflect for a while.nnMake sure it's a pretty nice day though, otherwise this park tends to get really windy! Otherwise... make sure you have a jacket or something.
One of the better playgrounds in the area! No swings or toddler friendly play areas. There are tennis courts and basketball courts in close proximity, so parents don't have to just sit and hover at the playground. There is also a field hidden in the back for kite flying or anything else of the sort. Restrooms though just consist of a portapotty.
This is a great go-to spot for letting a few kids play at or a 5 v 5 game of basketball. There is a small field around the park for walking or even running suicides and trees for shade. Hope they dont cut anymore trees down though.
Have not been to the park personally but my sister-in-law and family have been there and like it. There is always a basketball game going on when we drive by and people in the park. Seems nice and will check it out one of these days.
Park itself is okay. Seems like a decent place.
