Salon 809 - A Dominican Hair Salon

I had to wait awhile as I was just a walk in. The wait was worth it. I went in for a wash only but they did a great job. I could come here just for the wash everyday. The place is very classy and clean. Prices aren’t bad.

I have visited this salon twice, and both times Angela did a terrific job on my hair. The ladies who washed & set my hair were very friendly & pleasant. This salon is very clean & modern, which was a pleasant surprise compared to other hair salons in the area. The prices are higher, but I think it is worth it. I plan on returning. This was my first time at the Bowie location. Receptionist had a nasty attitude and over charged me for service because she had an attitude. I have been a salon 809 customer over 2 years so I would know. I won’t hold her unprofessional behavior against the other staff but it can’t go unchecked. I would recommend customer service training. If you read the replies to previous reviews you will see the lack of professionalism that really can hurt a business. I recommend for services but just beware.

Loved my hair. They didn't use too much heat. They did such a good job. I got sooo many compliments. Look forward to next weeks service.

This salon is a well hidden Jewel. It's a gorgeous salon it's nice and clean the people are very nice as well.nMy hair was so silky and flawless.nnGive them a try and you won't be disappointed..
