The Honey Baked Ham Company

“MY FIRST AND LAST TIME PATRONIZING THIS LOCATION”. Both my mom and I wanted to try the boxed lunch option, of which she nor I had tried in a while, so we decided to patronize this location. Upon entering and greeting to whom I assume was the Manager along with another young male, we began to look over the menu and inquire verbally about the “lunch box” option. The associate a middle aged African American Woman, began to explain the options/protocols relative to purchasing the boxed lunch with such a unwelcoming, cavalier tone and approach. At this point my mom who’s close to seventy years of age but looks like she’s in her fifties, looks at me with the IS SHE ADDRESSING IS IN SUCH AN UNWELCOMING WAY??? By this time I had to respectfully and assertively advise that we are not sure of the options relative to purchase and that’s why were asking specifics. To be frank, the experience wasn’t pleasant and we felt rushed prior to purchase. Low and behold after our purchase, I had to re-enter the location to advise that my specific meal was not prepared per my specific request, whereas the Manager began to question and verbally debate what I as an adult professional and consumer, initially requested relative to my order. Keep in mind, I’m on a strict diet after having sustained a massive stroke a few years ago. After my departure, both my mom and I agreed that we would “NEVER” patronize this location again, due to what I deemed an “unfavorable business/consumer interaction”. I’m one to be very stern when it comes to protocol and standard relative to business and in business, one should always make and or attempt even if your having a questionable day, to always give the impression that your attempting to make said customer(s) feel welcome. This Manager DID NOT!!!nnR. WestnProfessional, Business Owner and Supportive Consumer OF ANY AND EVERYONE.

If your looking for superbly great customer service this is not the place!!nMy mother walked in just to get a whole ham just she always does during the holidays but today was a little busy and the computers were not functioning so you were asked to pay cash which wasn’t a problem upon her return when she ordered the ham another employee stopped what she was doing to tell the price of the ham which was odd because she already knew the price the employee maybe thought she couldn’t afford it because she said it twice!!!! Yes she got the ham but not after a embarrassing exchange of price shouting which was totally not necessary!!!

I prepaid $45.99 for a ham to pickup from the store. At the appointed time, I arrived at the store only to find that the prepaid line extended down the sidewalk. Since I'd already paid, I stood in the line and finally picked up the ham. I arrived home to find that the associate had given me a ham valued at $36.16. Now I have to go back for a refund of the difference. Unbelievable. Check your item before you leave this store. The worse!

Great product. Excellent customer service. Honey baked ham is pricey. Buy what you need.

You shouldn't operate during busy times such as Thanksgiving if you're unable to operate with a decent amount of common sense and decency/understanding towards your customers
