I have been using this pharmacy for a year. Since Walgreens has taken over this pharmacy, there have been new problems. First, the prescription cost doubled. The guy at the pharmacy took my prescription and said it would be ready in an hour. The next day I called before going there and was told that 2 prescriptions (out of 3) were not filled because they did not have the medications. No call was made to tell me they were out. So, I was automatically told my prescriptions would double in price and they didn't have most of them in stock. This is the first time a prescription that I have gotten for 10 years was not in stock at a pharmacy.

I use this Rite Aid primarily for pharmaceutical medications. I have found the pharmacists and assistants to be VERY helpful and friendly. I usually call-in to have the medications refilled. I purposely pick the meds up later because I've had to wait or come back the next day to purchase them. Frustrating.

I would give them less than one star but that wasn’t an option. I always fill with Rite Aid in Cleveland TN and they are AWESOME! My husband and I came to the area for an overnight trip and I forgot my medicine at home (migraine medication. Nothing narcotic at all.) and I called to see if they could pull me up in the system and just give me one pill to do me the night. I had my identification and insurance card and was more than willing to pay out of pocket for the medicine. They indeed pulled all my information up in the computer and varified it was correct and informed me that they would NOT fill even one pill for me. No wonder this place is going out of business with customer service practices like this. I hate to see my hometown store go though. They have been nothing but helpful. But it’s stores like this one that gives Rite Aid a bad name.
