Rick is our new Super Hero! I can’t say enough good things about our experience. From his friendliness to his flexibility to his knowledge and professionalism Rick is one of the BEST Service Professionals we have ever dealt with across all industries, not just RV services.nnWe recently purchased a 2003 Travel Supreme, 45 ft. DP. Not having owned a large motor coach for a number of years we needed a refresher and some minor things “checked out”. While at River Bend RV Resort in Hiawassee we noticed the Gause’s RV Services truck at a neighbor’s site and walked over to talk to Rick. He was friendly, professional and accommodating right from the get-go! He stopped over and we talked about the things we needed looked at and he said he would have Linda make an appointment in the next few days – done. Rick was scheduled for 8:30am on a Tuesday morning and he was there at 8:25am and ready to go! We reviewed the work list and then he asked me if I wanted to “follow and learn”, which I did. He not only did everything on the list in a professional and expedient manner, he was the “Fountain of Knowledge” and EXPLAINED HOW things worked, WHY some of the issues were happening, and WHAT to do to avoid/prevent things in the future! During my “training” when I would ask about having him “do something” he would say – “you can do it, you don’t need me to spend your money”.nnWhen Rick was finished he went out of his way to stop back later that same day to check to make sure everything was running better (he had helped clean our AC units) and to bring us a special wash & wax we had discussed.nnHis service got even better ONCE WE MOVED ON! About a week out from our meeting Rick we continued on our journey and upon arrival at our next stop we noticed an electrical issue effecting the power to our refrigerator! After about 2 hours of trying anything we could think of my wife suggested we “call Rick” because he said call him anytime. We called Rick (a few times!) over the course of the next two days as he WALKED US THROUGH, STEP BY STEP what to check, how to diagnose, and then HOW TO FIX the issue – right down to sending him pictures so he could see what we were trying – and sending me to Lowe’s (twice) as we worked through the issue. We ended up needing to change out a bad circuit breaker in the main panel!nnWe will certainly have another list ready and will plan to pass through Hiawassee again just to have Rick work on our coach.nnThanks Rick!!
