It's good. Food tastes good but when I searched for buffets in Americus this place came up. When we got there it really isn't an all you can eat buffet. You can get what you want but each item has it's price. Mom's kitchen is home style cooking like this place but I love how they make $7 meals. Choose a meat of your choice and 2 sides with cornbread plus sweet tea. If you decide you want another side it's extra but most of the time what they serve you is enough. Well Sheppard House let's you choose what you want and it can cost you a good bit if you choose certain things that cost more than others. I wish they either charged a solid price for buffet or made a price for a meal like Mom's Kichen. If they did it would be 5 stars. Overall that it's a good place. Food is good and employees are nice.
