This store has the cutest stuff for women of all ages and the owner is delightful. You'll feel good shopping here or the stand alone boutique (adorable old house) in Athens.

I bought a fairly expensive shirt ($197) from Amelia’s and brought it back with tags attached and receipt the next day, as the shirt wasn’t long enough for the person I bought it for. At that time, I was told I could only return merchandise for store credit or exchange. This was never mentioned the day of my purchase. Upon questioning, I was shown a notice on the wall and where it was written on my receipt. Had I known, I would not have made the purchase. I live three hours away and won’t be able to use the store credit. I’m out $197. Very tacky for a high end store.

Amelia's is such a fun place to shop! The women who work there are so friendly and helpful. Even though I do not live nearby, I make it a point to drive through Madison every summer just to shop at Amelia's on Main. And this year, I was very excited to discover Amelia's in Athens. Two great stores with stylish clothes and accessories!
