Troy's Custom Body & Paint Inc

I feel it's unfortunate I have to leave a review like this. We had used Troys for some body repair on our Jeep just over a month ago and they were professional and prompt. I recently bought an aftermarket hood for my wife's Jeep and know that Troy's did paint, I called to make an appointment. They scheduled me for the following Monday and after my wife called them again to confirm, they asked that we be there as early as we could. We live about an hour away but even with that, I was able to make it just before 8am. The hood had been slightly dented during shipping so I discussed with them that issue and that it would have to be fixed before paint, fully expecting it to take a bit longer than the single day turn around I had been originally quoted. I called back today to see if I could get a number on how much more it would be since they've now been able to work on it. I was told he'd go ask the tech and then he'd call me right back. An hour and a half later, I finally called them back to follow up. I was told they were really busy but he'd go look. He came back and said he'd just opened the box and that it looked like it'd be about another $100 if I still wanted to move forward. I said of course I wanted to move forward and that I knew it needed to be done, I also said I was upset that he'd "just opened the box". To which he replied "I can put it back in the box and you can come get it, we're busy". He then outlined a time frame and said they could get it done in a few days. I said get it done. I was still shocked at his response. I had made an appointment to get the job done so I don't really care how busy you are, I should be part of that busy and not sitting in a box for 26 plus hours after you asked me to bring it in early. What was the point of that if you aren't going to even start working on it? And to just brush me off and tell me you'll put it back in the box, basically an F U. I called another body shop, got an appointment with them and went and picked up my hood from Troy's. I'm not going to spend my money at a shop that doesn't want it. I'm glad they have so many customers that they can tell a few off. I'll never go back.

I'm EXTREMELY impressed with Troy's Auto Body. They were very easy to work with. I had a scooter run into my car parked and that same day, I took it over for an estimate along with the insurance estimate & information. They got me right in a few days later and had my car done in 5 days just as they scheduled. They handled everything for me with the insurance. Very professional and prompt. My car looks absolutely brand new and cannot tell there was dented, scratched and banged up. Plus they detailed my car. These guys go the extra mile and truly show what it means to provide exceptional customer service. Thank you for making this painful process absolutely seamless and easy!

These guys were great. The new bumper and the repair to the quarter panel was superb. It looks brand new. You can not tell that it was hit. The worked very with with the insurance and was very accommodating with us. I would use them again. Great JOB!!!!

I had an issue with my tailgate. I took it by for them to take a look and give me a quote. Turns out it was simply a bad bushing that needed to be replaced. They called the local car dealer to see if they had one and told me how to replace it myself (honestly my 4-year old could have fixed it). I greatly respect any company/shop willing to tell you how to do small fixes yourself instead of doing it and taking advantage of you. Mike @ Troy's is a good guy. Thanks!
