The staff are unresponsive and the program is extremely unorganized. I paid for the program in June 2020 and I am still not finished because it is extremely difficult to get clinical hours. Only do this program if you have time to waste.

Save your money! Impossible to gain clinical hours due to the student load and classroom size of this place. The staff is kind, but the certification process is extremely unorganized and inefficient.

I gained my CMA certification through this program and I can’t thank Mrs. H and the other professionals at this institution. I came into the knowledge of this program late and the ability for someone to care about us getting our experience and letting us keep coming back no matter how far we get, resonates with me always. You don’t get that anywhere else, you see the passion Mrs. H has for teaching us and taking us under her wing, it is a different culture here. I absolutely loved this program! Ms. H and all the instructors at MedCare are amazing. I joined the program in 2017 to get certified as a medical assistant and work while attending college and in the future professional school. This program is great for all students who are pursuing careers in the medical field and the best thing is that you can finish the program at your own pace and take as long as you need or your hectic school/life schedule permits. Ms. H will do everything in her hands to prepare you, but you also need to put effort as clinical spots might be hard to get. With persistence it is very easy to finish your requirements and get ready for your certification exam. I strongly recommend this program.

MedCare is absolutely amazing. Ms. H is so kind and nice, but she is very well-trained and knows literally everything. The rest of the staff are great as well. Clinicals are always very hands on and informative, which helps you to retain the necessary material. They may be hard to get into initially, as so many people are apart of this program, but with consistency and just being aware, it is definitely very doable. This has been such a great option for me, as I can earn my certification while finishing college, so that I can work as a certified MA upon graduation, prior to attending professional school. I would 10/10 recommend this program to anyone looking to obtain a certification to get the necessary hours/experience they need to to go on to their professional schools and careers.
