New to the area and I always have trouble finding reputable salons. I have very high standards for hair stylists (honestly what woman doesn’t?). I am always afraid to go to a new salon and have had so many bad experiences. I was at my last place for almost 6 years but it took over a year of trial and error with other salons before I found them. Now we have moved to Georgia and I called around, got referrals, read reviews, etc. I decided on MAK salon because it was close to home with good reviews. Lizbeth was the stylist that worked with me. What a gem she is! So sweet and bubbly! I love that she only worked with me (can’t stand being juggled with other clients). I gave her full reign so she can show off her stuff and she delivered. Super cute edgy bob-do. The place is very clean and everyone was so nice. I’m so elated that I found a great salon on my first try! I will be asking Lizbeth to do color next so let’s see how that goes!

Hope is a phenomenal hair stylist. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable during my visit(s). She never disappoints when she does my hair. On my last visit with hope at the salon she met all of my expectations and then some. I highly recommend scheduling Hope as your stylist for any coloring or cutting services.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SALON! Will never return. My stylist was very sweet and she tried. But my hair is ruined and she absolutely fried it. I do not believe the woman who did my hair was even licensed. I am having to get it fixed.

The salon is quiet and quaint for sure. I’ve been seeing Hope going on 2-3 years and they hold themselves to an incredible standard. Pricing is really fair and they offer consults before your final decision can be made. I’d recommend this salon to anyone.
