On our way to Florida. Always try to find local non chain kinds of restaurants. This place was great. Food was good, staff was amazing. Definitely a must have.

Went for a meeting. Nice place with a home southern feel to it. Good food as well.

If your tired of the chain restaurants this is a great place for some good Southern food. This is close to the interstate so convenient for all the travelers. I had the the steak and gravy with mashed potatoes, stewed squash, boiled cabbage and cornbread. Its cafeteria style which is not too common this days but it was a pleasant surprise. I wasn't a fan of the steak, it's the way my aunt made hers just a personal preference., but the food was all fresh and delicious. The next time I come through I'm trying the fried chicken. The only reason 4 stars is I had both good and bad experiences with the staff. The ladies serving the food were wonderful and friendly. The staff in the dining room werent so much. Never the less well worth trying it out.

This was the best southern cooking I've had in awhile! Absolutely delicious! It's not right off the interstate but only 3 minutes off the main road going into Vienna. I had the baked chicken, greens and mac-n-cheese. My husband had the pork chop, dressing, and potatoes. Fantastic! If I come this way again I will be stopping in for lunch (only open 11:30-2:00)!
