Shockley Electric was referred to me by the WellStar Concierge service. I needed several different types of lighting fixtures installed. Of the three recommendations the concierge service provided, Shockley was the only one that would provide me with a rough estimate over the phone. The other two companies wanted to come to my home and I feared they would try to hard sell me on things I didn't need or want.nnChristian Shockley, the owner and his partner arrived early, were extremely friendly, yet professional and they both had a good sense of humor. They divided the tasks between themselves and got right to work. They were extremely efficient. They started around 10:00 a.m. and were done about 1:00 p.m. They cleaned up after themselves and took all the old fixtures to the garage. Christian even fixed the switches in the master bedroom to work with the new fan so that the light and fan switch can be operated independently. I had quite a few questions about the fixtures that were being installed and Christian patiently answered every question I had.nnShockley took the fear out of this process for me and I will call them back soon to complete some additional. I will definitely recommend them to family, friends and neighbors.

Great electrician!!! Called when he was on his way and arrived as scheduled. They introduced themselves and were very polite and friendly. They worked quickly and carefully to figure out the best way to get the job wired. Christian took the time to explain things to me and made sure I was happy with the work when he was tidying up.nWould definitely call them again and highly recommend.

I needed a new ceiling fan/light put in when mine suddenly stopped working, after a talk on the phone, I was given the option to let them take care of everything or get a part myself to make it as cheap as possible! Even when we ran into unexpected issues, Preston was very nice and offered me several options before continuing to make sure I’d be as happy and informed as possible! He even put up all the little crystals on my new fan even though it’s not necessary to make it work. Very happy with everyone’s kindness, professionalism, and ability to roll with what happens!

Reached out after seeing them recommended on the Nextdoor App. They were on time and got right to work. The job was finished relatively quickly considering they had to replace the panel. They cleaned up after themselves and explained everything clearly. The price was affordable and reasonable. Would highly recommend.

Preston did a great job with his apprentice in fixing my light switch wiring. He answered all my questions and ensured everything worked before leaving. The cost wasn't cheap however - $205 for about 40 minutes work.
