Rhonda’s Kitchen

Wonderful, old fashioned breakfast/lunch place. Had the best Greek omelet I've had in awhile. My sweetie chose a burger & they were happy to make it medium rare which most places refuse to do. Good coffee, pleasant waitress and convenient to Blue Springs State Park.

Easter Sunday. Rhonda and the crew were open serving the public and church congregations instead of at home with their families. This Holy day I found myself going solo and decided to end my day with those who sacrificed theirs to stay open. There was no special Easter dinner, nothing new added to the menu to entice patrons to come in. There were though, familiar faces, friendly greetings, and that similar comfortable atmosphere of sitting at home in the kitchen and visiting with friends and family. And probably the best Reuben I have had anywhere. That and the BLT are my two favorites on the menu. There are probably more but I just haven't tried much else. It's not a dive, nor is it Emeril's. It's a bit of country diner charm that feels like an extension of my moms kitchen. I highly recommend this local gem of an eatery for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It won't break the bank and you'll leave satisfied both in the belly and the wallet.

So me and my husband goes to Rhonda's kitchen about 1 time a week food is usually good and so is the service. Well we went today on Easter Sunday they had a list which isn't a problem. The problem is this couple came up walked in and the hostess/ waitress Mary ignore everyone that was waiting and everyone on the list and sat this couple down in front of everyone. My husband spoke up and said don't the list count and she said oh I will get you next my husband replied we're no even next. To say the least we were appalled by this and could tell by the reactions of others so we're they. I think this person Mary needs to seek out work that she's capable of doing. Obviously it's not in customer service. On well I had to edit this post I ordered a super blt with Weill done bacon she brought out the food and I opened the sandwich in front of the waitress and on 1/2 it had maybe one piece of bacon and the other 1/2 may of had 1 1/2 pieces of bacon so I ask her if it was a super she said no it wasn't so she took and brought it right back and had added maybe 2 more pieces but they were ice cold out it the refrigerator. Well I think when Rhonda isn't their the quality isn't either. I know from this point forward if we walk in and she's not their we will find a different place to eat.

Great place. We all had the Eggs Benedict and it was wonderful. Fast service and friendly staff.

Good food and service! We've always had a great experience here.
