Wasn't sure what to expect- and was pleasantly surprised!! We only did about 3 miles (1.5 out and 1.5 back), but saw all kinds of wildlife! A huge owl, lots of birds, turtles and gators! Even saw a fairly new hatch-out if baby alligators!! So cute!! Small parking lot- but well worth it! Highly recommend!!

Did not like it at all.nWe ended up doing the whole 7.1 mile loop and there were options to rest and sit down anywhere except by the camp site mid way. This is a challenging trail, many big trees right on the trail with big tree roots all along the trail that you have to step over and around.nAlligator blocked our way by laying right on the narrow path and we had to wait and hope it would move as we couldn't turn back the other way.nThere needs to be a better option to cut through to where it's shorter instead of going back the same way you came from if you already went past challenging parts.nnThere are Mile markers every quarter mile and the paths are mostly shaded.nnLoud boats going up and down the river next to the path.nnDo not recommend for anyone with small children and definitely no stroller.nnSeen much better will not go back.

This is a really nice 7 mile loop trail. It is well maintained and a moderate walk. There are short portions where it is up and down climbing around trees and roots but kids and the elderly should be fine.nnThere is lots of wildlife on the trail from Wild pigs to alligators. The only warning is that there is a stretch near a water treatment (or something) that has lots of standing water and the mosquitoes are thick. Bring bug spray because they can be brutal

Well maintained scenic park. Great for walking, running (watch out for roots), and wildlife viewing. Nice camp grounds about 3 miles in. Alligators, otters, hogs, black bears, coral snakes, and red velvet ants spotted in mid spring hikes.

This park is beautiful! It's old natural Florida. The 14 boardwalks make the walk special. Seminole County has done a wonderful job with this preserve!
