Black Bear Campsite / Shelter

Theres several feasible spots to set up, but the one with the adjacent bench is convenient and has a fantastic view looking up at the canopy. There's nowhere to really hitch up a food bag, and critters are wont to pass through. Overall, it's a fantastic lil' primitive site, definitely a favorite.

It is clean, deep in nature. One had to walk 3 miles to reach this camp site

Well established trail. Good sources of wood. Small wooden/metal structure we set our tent up underneath. Fire pit has a grill. Picnic tables and benches.

Very well maintained and beautiful park. The boardwalks are fantastic. Lots of opportunities to see wildlife. Great river views.
