Beautiful place, and amazing staff! When we were visiting from Michigan, someone in our party dropped her phone on a hike here. We didn't figure it out until after the park was closed, but we saw a snake researcher coming out when we came back. That person was able to contact the ranger AT HOME, who drove back to help us retrace our steps and find the phone! Whew! Thanks to everyone who was involved and went well above and beyond.

Absolutely beautiful park. A must do. Super clean and manicured. Everything was well marked and displayed. History and information about the park was available throughout the park. Trails were great and easily trekked. Some areas were recently control burned. Water areas and vegetation are just gorgeous! Lots of wildlife seen. Very family friendly and safe. You do have to pay to get in but it is well worth it. They have a great kayak launch area and they also rent kayaks. Many places to sit and relax throughout the park. Some trails have small areas of muddy trail so wear good shoes. Bug repellent probably a must during the rainy season.

This is a beautiful walking trail!nMy husband and mother in law both walked this trail and loved seeing the tortoises, bugs and other wildlife.nWhen my husband took me, I was glad to find ferns, mushrooms, and a beautifully manicured path to take pictures of.nThey do close at sunset, so try not to go late in the day.nDogs are definitely allowed here, but please pick up your dogs poop. Some people leave it on the trail, even though there's a poop box for them to throw away.nPlease, at least keep it off the trail. It's inconvenient to step in.nThank you!

Great hike. Many sign descriptors a long the walk. Concluded with a picnic. Plenty of parking. Very clean. Glad we stopped.

Beautiful place to kayak, about 2 hours to paddle main areas. We had our own kayaks & the Salty Dog rental kindly let us use their kayak trolleys. Unlike previous reviewer, trolleys work like a charm - saved us a ton of energy. Restrooms were clean, and we saw dolphins! Will be returning soon.
