New Shanghai Chinese Restaurant

Awesome food

Good stuff I guess. Not authentic and definitely not shanghai food but what could I expect. It's good american style chinese food ran by hard working fuzhou people during a global pandemic. Ordered mapo tofu thinking it would be mapo tofu but got american style tofu. Real mapo tofu is ground pork and tofu in a super numbing and spicy sichuan peppercorn sauce served over white rice, and I got sweet tofu with veggies. Since I spoke mandarin and fuzhounese dialect with the server they should have let me know it's different than the chinese dish. Imagine ordering a big mac and getting a chicken sandwich. It was really good however. Veggies had a nice crunch to them and it was soft tofu. If you've never been to china or a real chinatown then this is the same food as other takeout restaurants you've been to but I will say this one was more fresh. It didn't have that chinese takeout greasy taste like we're used to. Will absolutely order from here again but would love to see real mapo tofu (麻婆豆腐) or fuzhounese peanut noodles (拌面 ).

They’re wonton is perfect somewhat salty but savory you can definitely taste the greens in it along with the meat only one other restaurant I’ve had it this good and it wasn’t in Florida great job ud83dudc4dud83cudffb

Great food, there fast, and great customer service.

Been going here to eat for years,has obviously changed ownership, management ,and cooks,this was our last trip. Don’t pay attention to the local guides. five star everything look at all the reviews they are paid to give reviews. Menu ,service ,food portions, taste ,freshness everything has changed. Love this place for years hate to say were done. Good luck
