This place is wonderful. Not only are they the most prolific vendor of clumping Bamboo, the grounds are impeccable and so fun to visit!! The manager Sam is knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with too. Once you realize how many varieties of bamboo exist, it is notable when someone has such encyclopedic knowledge like she does. (You can tell she loves her work.) I consider myself lucky being able to shop for Bamboo and Sam makes the experience that much more enjoyable. I can't wait to watch my babies grow :)
Samantha is great! Very knowledgeable and friendly. I'm a garden nerd and had a lot of fun taking the tour on the side by side. I brought home two beautiful species of bamboo and a rainbow eucalyptus . As a bonus, Samantha took some clippings of some beautiful vines that I inquired about for me to take home for free. I visit a lot of local nurseries and this one is for sure one of my favorites.
They do have a great selection of bamboo species to choose from. However, if you're ordering online, you're going to get the smallest bamboo (3 gallon) sent to you. Not likely going to survive the Winter months. If only they sell all gallon sizes online. It would be a fantastic thing!
This place is beautiful and is a learning experience. They have over 300 varieties of bamboo and they know about all of them. We just tell them our height requirements and our color preference etc and they show us all the varieties that fit that criteria and how to care for them. It is fun just to walk around and see all the displays of bamboo and other exotic plants. They even have rainbow eucalyptus.
Absolutely stunning Nursery and Garden. Samantha was a wealth of information and knew exactly where everything was. I will be sure to come back here for my bamboo needs!!
