Lion Country Safari

We’ve gone here with family and friends and it’s always a great time. The park is really well laid out and you can see a huge variety of different animals.nnIt’s really impressive to see just how big and powerful the rhinos are up close and personal! Now that’s some power packed into their bodies!nnMy wife and I always have as much fun as the kids, us all being huge animal lovers. The staff is super friendly and helpful.nnMy kids’ favorite part is feeding the giraffes, those beautiful and peaceful gentle giants. This park is a must do....over and over!

This was truly an amazing experience! I have heard so much about this place that we finally went for my birthday. We were able to buy the tickets ahead of time online for a pretty good price for all that you get. The ticket attendant at the front was really friendly and helpful. Once entering we were greeted with all sorts of animals roaming free. It was the coolest thing to see. We packed snacks and drinks with us so we wouldn’t be in a rush getting through. There’s even audio to follow along to of the areas and animals you are seeing as you drive through. It took us about an hour and a half to drive through the first time as we really took our time watching the animals and taking pictures. There are two lanes throughout so when you want to watch them for a little bit you just pull to the right to let others pass you. Once finished we only had a little time left before they closed so we switched drivers and were able to go through the drive through one more time. It was a memorable experience especially having my little one with us seeing those animals for the first time! Would definitely recommend and will come back again to go through the walking trails.

I made my first visit to Lion Country Safari in 1967, the year that it opened. I recently returned with my family and it is just as wonderful as I remember it. It is great to see the animals in a facility that provides them plenty of room to roam freely. You can get amazingly close to white rhinos and other big game animals. The facility is very clean and the animals seem to be loved and well cared for by the staff. We had a fantastic time! 5 Stars. By Gregg L. Friedman MD

This place is incredible and so much fun for the whole family. The tour is much longer than expected as well as the variety of animals. The lions are fascinating but I think the rhinos, zebras, giraffes, and ostriches steal the show. The staff is beyond friendly and the gift shop has a nice variety of items at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend this experience!

Very nice scenic drive. So many rhinos!!! I have been to other zoo's that only had 1 or 2... I counted over half a dozen. Very amazing. I loved walking around the petting portion. The beautiful trees provided wonderful shade and the outside temperature felt amazing. A very good day. Very pleased with my visit
