Having lived just two blocks from this awesome park in Miramar, I spent a lot of time here over the years enjoying the bike path that encircles two beautiful ponds teaming with fish, turtles, various types of birds & wildlife. This is a great place to rest & lay out on the grass. If you’re feeling more active it’s a nice spot for bicycling, walking, yoga, &/or fitness training on the pull-up bars. I was always drawn to the pull-up bars that my body & mind benefited from in many ways. I’m so thankful for this park & all the kind people I met here. Connect with nature & self - get outdoors & visit the Warrior Island park!

Such a great find of a park in the most unexpected area. The walking path is spacious and provides a great walk or jog as a loop from and to the parking lot, which had many spots available. The nature here is beautiful and there has been a ton of great work done here to keep the park calm and leave the animals unbothered in their natural habitats. I did notice a park ranger in the area making rounds so the grounds are relatively protected but use best judgment and recommend locking your car, etc. Also, there is no shelter if weather gets bad and no restrooms either. A ton to learn and explore about this preserved piece of nature.

Small, pleasant neighborhood park with a .5 mile walk around two ponds. There are a few birds and turtles in the pond. The copse of live oaks makes a nice picnic spot.

A true hidden gem. Rich history, beautiful bird watching and excellent bass fishing. Only drawback is no pets. Love this little park in the heart of Broward county.
