My first few months as a new mom, was harder than I had prepared for. I'm so glad one of my best friends from high school kept urging me to try stroller strides with FIT4MOM east side. It helped create a routine, set a good example, get my exercise in, and create new friendships with other moms, who knew what I was going through! I can't say thank you enough, that a program exists, where I can work out WITH my son and where I can come as I am!

FIT4MOM has been apart of my life for over 3 years. I started when Lincoln was 8 weeks old at Stroller Strides, did FIT4BABY when pregnant with Ashby, and followed up with Body Back. Every program has met me where I was and challenged me to be the best! These women have become my village and I can’t thank them enough for helping me in the hardest job I’ve ever had, mom!

What a God-send! I never thought I would have an option to workout with my baby, until I found Fit4Mom. The instructors give you variations for each exercise depending on your fitness level, so there is no need to feel intimidated if you're just starting out. Attending the Stroller Strides classes has helped me get stronger and closer to my goals, but it's so much more than just a fitness club. I have found a wonderful community, village, and friendships. Fussy baby? The instructors will give them a push around in the stroller to calm them down so you can focus on your workout. Bonus: I love working out in the parks in the Summer! So much better than being couped up in a gym, and great for both of us to get some fresh air! My son loves being pushed on the swing after class. I highly recommend!

When I went to my first class, I told them I would only be able to attend for two months, as I had accepted a job offer in another state. They said it is super easy to cancel and wouldn’t be a problem. I emailed them to cancel before the end of the first month in order to make sure they had a full months notice, and got the run around. They told me I had to attend 3 months upon signing up, even though I was completely upfront about moving. When I saw the pending charge for the second month drop off my credit card statement, I thanked the owner for taking care of it for me and thought that was the end of it. Turns out, she hadn’t refunded the money at all. So when I was charged for the third month, I noticed the last months charge had showed up as well. I paid for a month I would have gone to classes because the owner led me to believe she had refunded my card. I also paid for a third month that I didn’t even live in the same state. I have tried emails and phone calls to try to resolve this with no response.

This is an amazing and supportive community of mothers. I have been a member of Fit4Mom for over a year and I have loved every minute of it. There are workout classes for you and your kiddos in the stroller and classes just for moms. Give it a try, your first class is free! You won't regret it!
