We went tubing for my husband's birthday. It was also our first adventure since moving down here. This place is amazing. For 22 bucks a person you float down a cool, scenic river for an hour and a half. It was so hot out that the water wasn't cold. But refreshing. If you're looking for something cheap, fun, a way to keep cool, and as a family, this place is it.
$2 per person. The overall park is cool. The spring is nice but not as nice as others. Swimming area is small. The only access to swim in the spring is from the floating dock and the water is about 6.5’ deep right off the dock. You better bring a noodle to float, no big floats allowed. Park fills up fast and closes for the day at capacity. Hiking trails could be marked better with a trailhead map of some sort.
Talking about my personal experience this spring it's AWESOME. The water is about 72° and with the hot weather is the perfect place to refresh yourself. You also have plenty of nature to hike or play with your family. There are picnics tables and pavilions available. All the areas and restrooms are perfect clean all the times! We'll definitely recommend this place.
The most amazing place. Always take out of town family here.nThey are always amazed.nSuch a beautiful gem of a place.nVery nice nature walk.nSwimming and kayak rentals.nHas snack bar and picnic area.
Such a nice place.nUnfortunately we couldn't do the nature trail because of a fallen tree that blocked it that day. But we went into the water with our 6, 3 year old girls and loved it. The water is so clear and you can see the sand boils and the fish. It's a bit cold but not too bad.
