Five Star Pizza

We tried Five Star for the first time. Ordered delivery late last night around 2am. We ordered Lg Pepperoni Heart attack pizza and 10 hot buffalo wings. The order was at our hotel in amazing time! Everything was correct, hot, and AMAZING in taste. This place is my new favorite for pizza and wings!

As a former Papa Johns employee back in the day, I think that I can say with some amount of authority that the pizza here is pretty comparable, especially in the crust - seems identical to me.nnSo if the pricing or location is better than Papa Johns for you, I'd say go for it!nnI tired them out because of a buy-one-get-one offer on Facebook, and at least at that rate, it seemed like a great deal (1 XL all-meats + 1 pepperoni for about $19 total).nnThe employee who greeted me was friendly, with an interesting Jamaican (?) accent, and the food was done when I arrived about 20 minutes after my phone call.

Great pizza would have given it a five star. But I talked to the manager in the store in person about doing a regular order for the agency I work with. He provided me his cell number and the office number of course I left messages at both he never bothered to return my call. Very disappointing especially how much I promoted five star to my coworkers and my supervisors.

Great late night dinner option, I’ve had at least 10 different delivery drivers over the last couple years and every one of them have been beyond nice.

*Update: Also, vegan cheese. Yes. Vegan cheese, and not just for vegans. My mom, who's not Veg at all, is very lactose intolerant, but she approves. It's tasty and actual foodfood, not some for decoration only thing that's chemically and plastic-tasting in larger quantities, like some brands.* 5 stars for Five Star, am I right? Seriously though, I was indoctrinated over 15 years ago, in Gainesville, FL, and now we're getting to enjoy this cult-status pizza again, right here in Tally. They were like our Gumby's down there. I'm vegetarian, so I usually get some combination of mushroom, green pepper and onion. Great, enthusiastic owner and crew. If you want a simple, affordable pizza that could pass for a big chain, but wanna support a small business (with a rabid following,) give them a try.
