Kids and adults had a good time. I wish there was an hour and a half tour or a 2 hour tour option. I would have liked to take a little longer to get to see it all. Other negative is you can't call ahead we got there at 1230 and waited till 330 to do the tour. A short drive further in is a decent small playground we played at till our tour. Our guide was nice and informative. We got to see a tiny bat. Highly recommend going to the top of the gift shop there is a video of the cave in the theater. Watch that before you go on the tour. Would have given 5 stars if they allowed call ahead. I'd even pay ahead if it's an issue of no shows. There is some small puddles and it can be slick. Recommend where tennis shoes.
The only accessible caves that are above water in the state of Florida. It's a long drive for us, but worth the wait. Amazing natural formations, hidden just outside Tallahassee. Tour guide was great. Small group tour, about 10 people. Be ready to carefully duck a few times to make it through the cave's passageways.
Great tourn45 min to an hournTour guide is Kat. She's great!!nWarning: Caverns tour. Wear good shoes for muddy wet conditions and be able to squat- dodge - crouch- and all that jazz.. It's very informative tour.nWell worth it.n$11.00
I loved it! They was super friendly and very helpful with everything. Mr. Lee was my tour guide and he was such a joy and pleasure. Made us laugh, very knowledgeable and educational about the history and cavern. I will definitely visit again.
Super cool experience! The tours are first come first serve, which is something they should change. We are not from the area and wanted to do this on a road trip home. It would have saved us a lot of stress and time to be able to make the reservation in advance! Even if you just open them up online that morning that would save you a trip! There isn't much else to do there besides the tour, museum and gift shop. The tour was excellent. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed it, despite the hassle of making the reservation in person and having to wait several hours for our tour.
