Drive thru sucks. Takes too long and goes out of order to much. Totally sucks

Don’t go to sun coast if you want to use the atm to deposit money or checks . You also can’t use the mobile app to deposit checks.nThey put a restriction on your account for up to 1 year for new customers !!

Been a customerfor 4 years. Tried calling a local branch and it's impossible. The automated phone service sent me everywhere but where I needed to go. Took about 30 mins to find out none of what I needed to know. Wasted my time and a trip up to the branch to not get nothing done. Something so simple as answering the damn phone might make me not move my account anywhere else. Thanks for nothing.

Small businesses account for a good percentage of the deposits that credit unions utilize to provide loans and other services to the community. When banks like Suncoast make the deposit process arduous-small businesses will move elsewhere. The night deposit process has been eliminated and changed to the kiosk process. You now need to make deposits with cash or check only - which adds to the customers process and costs in payroll increase. You now need to scan in your deposit and many checks do not pick up the correct dollar amount. Today my deposit rejected several commercial checks as zero balance. Today the kiosk rejected a 20 dollar bill. Today when I made a cash deposit WITH a check by accident - the virtual teller kept the cash and told me she could not give it to me back. That now changes my commercial deposit amount for the day and again will increase my payroll because my tallies will be off - by that amount- versus what we recorded at the business. If a business opens at 7 and closes at 7 it has no option except this faulty kiosk process- other than sending a person to make a deposit in the bank. The kiosk also asks for an account number or a social security number. Many small businesses do not want to provide that information to an employee simply asked to make a night deposit. You have bugs to work out in this process. You did not inform small businesses that deposits need to be made as cash or check and that mixed deposits would be rejected. One letter was sent out that said the night deposit process would be ending. Another smack in the face to the small business owner struggling during a pandemic. Clean up and curate the kiosk process.

Although I've visited other Suncoast branches in the past, today was my first visit to this particular location. I came to Suncoast seeking an auto loan. The service I received was beyond any interactions I've had in the past. Janelle Alford assisted me with my application and truly went above and beyond to walk me through the process. Janelle was not only extremely courteous but very knowledgeable. I hope this branch recognizes what a truly awesome employee she is!
