It's a barber shop like my dad used to take me when I was a boy. Plenty of talk and they will shave your neck with a straight razor. The barbers are very friendly and competent. The basic cut is $11. I take my boys there as well.
Visiting Melbourne and Frank's was recommended by a long time resident. The place is clean, everyone is friendly. 4 chairs. Lots of conversation. Vicki listened carefully when I told her how I wanted my hair cut, then did a great job getting it just the way I like it with no wasted motion. I really don't like to talk much and Vicki let me sit quietly, but was willing to talk when I had a question or comment. This is where I will get my haircut the next time I'm in Melbourne.
