After dealing with the HORROR that was Stafford Nursery, who lied and lied and lied and would not even contact me until I canceled my deposit through my credit card, dealing with the folks at VCB was a dream.nnThey didn't give me any BS that my shed would be ready in 3 weeks. They told me it would be 6-7 weeks. They told me step by step what I needed to do. They gave me all the documents for permits that I needed. And they contacted me when they said they would. The shed was ready on time. They delivered and installed it exactly when they said they would.nnIt was a fantastic experience.

So we ordered a 8x8 shed on OCTOBER 24th 2020 here it is February 27th 2021. The shed still isn’t delivered. When we ordered the shed we had to request it be delivered with a mule due to not wanting to cut down trees and level out some land on the back of our property that connects to the street behind our lot. They said no problem. ($150.00 extra charge) Almost two months after we put a $700.00 deposit on a 2800$ shed. We get a letter stating that their driver/delivery person quit and moved back to Canada due to needing to handle a family matter and that the owner would be delivering the sheds and they were way behind on delivery. The owner reached out mid January to see about delivering that day on a Friday afternoon but did not have a mule to deliver it and suggested sliding the shed across the yard and to the pad I had already made to put the shed on. That was not a smart or reasonable offer. Then on February 3rd I reached out to the owner seeing about if we had some trees cleared in the back and the shed delivered without the mule and utilized their delivery truck if that was possible. He responded two days later and said that was possible. Then we asked how much of a discount we could receive if we picked the shed up ourselves and got it to our lot. He then stated only $175.00 would be discounted. And ontop of that we had to pay 50$ to renew a permit for our HOA to have a shed put on our lot. Then decided to have them deliver it and the owner stated he would deliver it today February 27th wirh the truck. I reached out to the owner the entire week leading up to today to try to confirm time of delivery and also in regards to the weather being rainy and wet and did not want to take a chance of our yard being destroyed . And finally this morning the owner responded after we told him we are just going to come by get our refund of deposit and go another route saying he would deliver it today wirh the mule. Which ISNT a smart idea either due to the puddles and soft ground and the weight of the shed could potentially mess up the yard or tip over when the mule would sink.nnThey have some awesome buildings there I will not deny that. And their sales lady is nice and respectful and upfront about their items.nnBut the way everyrging has been handled and having to wait nearly 5 months ...is ridiculous.

2.5 months Im still waiting for my 9000 shed to be delivered. Its literally 4 miles away and they dont have excuses and they do not have any answers as to why its still not here except trying to blame the drizzle but I can get it delivered if I want to pay more. Im ready to get my money back and build my own shed itll be quicker.

We've bought from Va Custom before and we've hired them to move sheds. Prices are reasonable and the owner Rodney will work with you personally to accommodate any special needs. Our first shed was bought about 5 years ago and has yet to show any signs of deterioration or settling. Looking forward to buying my workshop from them in the future.
