Looking for birds and wildlife. Little to none present. People there fishing appeared to be enjoying it. Few visitors present. Nice weather and quiet environment. Good parking and restrooms.
Quick stop to try out the latest lure I had purchased. Excellent location with for a walk and spent some time in nature. Plenty of fish to catch right off the shoreline. The water was very clear this sunny afternoon I could see fish going by me, broke my line a couple times but was fun and i plan to return and try again. Boat rentals available get there early.
Loved kayaking with friends here! Beautiful weather, perfect serene setting. Really nice peaceful kayaking place. No gas motors allowed.
Hunting Run is close to home and very convenient for us. My 12 year old daughter loves to fish here and its been a nice place for us to go. The staff are always cordial and pleasant as well. They are currently rebuilding the whole area and its really going to be nice when they reopen in spring 2020.
Great facilities run by friendly folks who care about the place for real
