This was our first time in Roanoke and we weren’t sure which places were the best to eat at. We asked our Bed & Breakfast hosts and they recommended Montano’s, and it did not disappoint. Chip and Donna were our wonderful waiter and waitress and we just cannot gush enough about how wonderful they both were. The owner also came over and greeted us and welcomed us into his establishment as well as thanked us for our business. We loved it so much that we actually ended up eating there two nights in a row! We will prayerfully be back in the area in a few months and will definitely be stopping in again!

I just wasn't impressed, the prices were very high, food, not impressed. Staff very friendly

Good service from the staff. The food is good, but in my opinion not worth as much as they charged. The beef in the salad was tough. The cheesecake was incredible.

If you are expecting “fine” dining, this is not the place. Very sub par food for the prices charged. Over cooked vegetables that are mush, a lump meat crab cake with very few lumps, veal scallopini with small pieces of meat hard to find under thick brown gravy made for sausage and biscuits. If the prices did not reflect fine dining there would be no need for complaint, but if you look at reviews and prices, trust me your are not going to get what you are expecting. Service awesome, go there for desserts for sure, food cooked properly with elegance, look elsewhere.

I enjoyed the setting. Good table service. The bacon rapped scallops were awesome. Need to expand this restaurant to other locations.
