Worst company to make business with. The whole process was a total disaster and a lack of professionalism, from beginning to end. The workers left a lot of damages in my property, they were not careful at all. They couldn't assemble anything so I don't even know why they brought their only 3 tools. They also tried to take some of my tools, so if you go for this company I'd recommend to watch out your stuff. The administrative team is also rude and they don't care about customers at all. They washed their hands when I asked them to fix the damages they left in my residence. There were scrathes on the walls, doors and floors. What a disaster this company is!!

ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.nnI’m a military service member of 15 years with multiple moves associated. Bay Area Movers was exponentially worse than anything I’ve experienced.nnSpecifically-n1) Movers showed up late.n2) They simply gave up on putting together 2 simple Ikea pieces of furniture.n3) They damaged a couch, dresser, nightstand and chest of drawers.n4) They slid a chest of drawers 4 feet across hardwood floors causing $1500 worth of damage.n5) Unresponsive for weeks in my attempts to recuperate the money associated with above damage.nnI don’t know if this will be read. However, I’ve completed the surveys with the military in the hopes of never allowing this company to be utilized with my fellow service members.nnIf you want your move to be carried out by a company who actually cares - go elsewhere.nnAgain - absolutely horrific.

The crew i had was very unprofessional. They attempted to roll every package out of the crate and down the ramp. After i voiced my opinion is when they got a bad attitude! They tried talking me out of unpacking, they stated they didnt need to confirm high value items. They didnt pick up any of their nails or trash. They even asked for a tip when it was all done. We asked them to unbox the kitchen, after the first box we asked them to leave. They began dumping the boxes instead of unpacking them. They refused to lay down runners on my floor until the damaged it. I got zero paperwork on the day of delivery! Highly advise to look elsewhere, they treat your belongings like trash!

Nice workers and communication prior to the move. After they delivered our stuff and we saw all the damage to our apt they completely ignored our claims. May have to pursue further action if they don’t respond.

My husband and I had a great experience with Bay Area Movers for our first overseas move. Prior to the pack out date Starr was maintained great communication. The day of the pack out, the packers were very punctual and came ready to work. Starr completed the inventory allowing me to walk through all of her stuff with her. They packed our stuff with care as if it were their own and as a couple just starting out with a lot of newly purchased items, that was highly appreciated. It was such a pleasure having them in our home and they explained every step of the process to us in great detail. Starr also gave us a chance to fully review the inventory she took prior to us signing any paperwork. The moving team were punctual as well and handled all our items with extreme caution. They crated and sealed everything right in front of us to ensure our stuff would safely make it to the destination with no tampering. The entire process was completed within 3 hours from the start time. Our stuff arrived prior to us getting to our destination so in a very timely manner despite it being prime moving season. Once our stuff arrived not a single items was damaged. For any families that want to ensure that their stuff is well taken care of while making their moves - I would recommend Bay Area Movers every time. They are efficient, effective, professional, and caring. Thank you so much!
