LOVED hang gliding!! Would highly recommend Virginia Hang Gliding. It was exhilarating and a smooth ride and landing. The staff were amazing. If you've ever wanted to fly, these guys do it right!!

This is an ABSOLUTE must!! Don and Ritchie were quite accommodating with the weather and were able to make a few exceptions for a solo traveler who drove 9+ hours just to hang glide. No regrets!nThey are experienced hang gliders and educate you on things that you'd never know that consisted with gliding. I'm an avid traveler and this is one of the best experiences I've had on my many adventures.nnThanks for making my first time hang gliding such an awesome experience!

This was my gift for my wife on our anniversary. It was one of the things on her bucket list. She started smiling from the moment she arrived. The owner and pilot were great!nThey tow their hang glider behind an ultralight and they went up and up and it was impressive from the ground. My wife had never been but she was thrilled to see the bay to the ocean. She smiled the whole time on the go pro video they made. The staff are very safe and will only fly in the right conditions. So, if you are delayed in your reservation, it is because they are professionals and know when the weather isn't safe to take you up.nIf you are visiting during this vacation season, this is a must, must, must! We just moved here from Kansas last fall and I think this is going to be a regular thrill for her. I cannot because I am disabled, but I am exceedingly happy for her.nYou must try this. You will be happy with the memory of flying like an Eagle above it all.

Perfect 50th birthday experience for my husband!! The whole family participated in the event and it was great from start to finish. Don the owner was very helpful on the phone explaining all the details. When we arrived we were greeted by Don and Rich. Very friendly and attentive during the entire process. My daughters are 14 and 16 and both loved the experience. You are talked through each and every step. Safety was a priority. Cannot recommend this experience for a perfect family bonding....this will not disappoint!! Make a reservation now and plan an overnight in Chincoteague - it is a short 40min drive to hang glide.
