Simply the best Korean restaurant i have eaten in and that includes in Korea! The service is UNMATCHED. Quaint restaurant with great service-- Kimberly is awesome and she remembers everybody--always with a smile and energy. The food is fresh and NO MSG. Several of us at different tables asked. I have the Bulgogi (Korean beef BBQ) that comes with small side dishes of kimchee, bean sprouts, and several others. They pride themselves on fresh ingredients. You will not be disappointed going to the Asahi Restaurant.

I went here last month again and the food was not only delicious, but the service was some of the best I've ever received in my life. The woman was so kind and gave me extra rice, drinks, and extra vegetables. Definitely better than overpriced 757 Korean

The food was a little price but very very good.nnThe restaurant would have earned 5 stars on the food but the reason I wanted to write this review is because that lady that helped us was one of the kindest people I have had the pleasure to meet.nnWe arrived after a long drive and they were getting ready to close but stayed open food, she gave out kids free drinks, and made a new batch of white rice!nnShe was just so kind !nnI couldn’t recommend it more highly!

The most delicious Korean food in the area, but that’s not the best part about this hidden gem. The service is immaculate, literally the best service in the area. I’ve been going here for 10 years and the service is not only exceptional, but consistently high quality service that you just don’t get these days. Even during this pandemic, they have catered to my every need and went out of their way to make me feel welcomed and happy knowing that I’m supporting such a wonderful business!

I wish every restaurant had customer service like this one does. My husband has loved this place since he started coming here. Tonight was the first time for me ever, but for both of us since the pandemic since they were closed. Everything is made from scratch so the wait is 30-40 mins and we knew that and still came early. Kimberly was not only so appreciative of our business post pandemic, but she was very apologetic (even though we were early and they weren't behind)and gave us some extra beverages for the wait. The food was worth the wait and we can't wait to get back there!! Thank you Kimberly for being so wonderful!! If I could recommend any restaurant in VA Beach, this one would be it.
