This was a great experience. We are visiting Virginia Beach and went there as a family. We had the Homemade Mozzarella, Tomato, & Basil, and the Garlic Shrimp with toasted crostini for appetizers. Followed by the Grilled Leg of Lamb, and Homemade Pasta with Grilled Shrimp. Everything was wonderful, and the service was absolutely fantastic. The venue is built in what used to be an old post office - absolutely beautiful. The portions were right sized, not too big, not too small. No deserts were offered and we didn't have any room left after dinner for desert. Highly recommend a visit.

First time experience was amazing. Service was incredible. Spencer went above and beyond in every way to make sure we were taken care of. The food was incredible and presentation was amazing. Highly recommend this if you are in the area and want to treat yourself to an amazing experience. Thanks Costal Grill and we will be back for sure.

I had paid attention to the Coastal Grill menu and suggested that we try it for the first time. We had a wonderful evening. Coastal Grill is a relatively small and intimate setting.Rachel helped us with the menu and didn't rush us since we wanted to enjoy cocktails and glasses of wine with our granddaughter and her new roommate. The menu is not large but provides a variety of offerings. Then Rachel shared at least five or six specials. They all sounded great.

Wonderful experience every time we go! Staff is so professional and courteous. Food and ambiance is amazing. We love this restaurant!

My wife and I dined here for date night. The 2 stars is for the manager/owner's low level customer service. The atmosphere is great, we have always enjoyed the food and service. Except tonight. We always get the same dish as app and ask for balsamic glaze on the side. Have done so at least a dozen times. Tonight the owner said they were low and could not bring us any at all. They were low...not out. So, why again wouldn't you bring it to a current, paying customer, vs the potential one who may come next? We even asked to speak to him, told him we've ordered it many times....he didn't seem to care but made sure to let us know he was the owner?nAnyway, he could have sent a spoonful and we would have been satisfied. So much for customer service. They lost a loyal repeat customer tonight.
