Prime Storage

On a whim, I decided to stop in and ask about the rate of a smaller size unit to store some items that I needed but were taking up too much space in my home. After viewing the unit and prices with Michelle she was able to give me a larger unit for just a few dollars more. I am so glad to have more space to store items that I don't need all the time in my home but are available close by when I do need them. I have called several times for various reasons and Michelle has always been able to promptly and efficiently assist me. Thanks for being kind and helpful.

Amazing service. We needed a last minute storage unit since one of our customers was not ready for delivery. Michelle went above and beyond to accommodate us after hours. Turned out we needed two (2) units. We left the extra stuff out in front of our unit and Michelle and her staff moved it to a unit for us the next morning in the rain! I noticed yesterday when I went to pay my bill online that my month's balance for my storage unit at this location went up. I started renting in August 2020.nnDuring a phone conversation today with the manager to discuss the increase in my bill, I was told that there was a rate increase. My 10'X10' went from $117 ($106 for the unit and $11 for insurance) to $128 per month.nnHowever, I noticed this evening that the regular price for the 10'X10' was advertised as $99 per month on the Prime Storage website listing for this location. It was advertised that new renters for the 10'X10 would receive 50% off, not a discount on the regular rate.nnAll units are not climate controlled and are drive up. My unit is closer to the far side of the property than closer to the office or front gate, so it's not in any special location.nnI'd really like to know why the terms of my contract were changed, and why new customers are going to get the same size unit at a lower cost or at least the same as my original rate. My contract was not an introductory rate, and I certainly did not get $50 off my first month's rent as now advertised for a 10'X10'.nnThis just looks like a bait and switch!nnUPDATE: 2/26/2021 According to the notification I received for the price increase, Prime Storage reevaluates the rates. I thought my new total bill was $125 but it's actually $128 from $117. The local office states that district makes the changes. And worse, there is no way to know when or how much the next increase will occur! Even with a 30 day notice, it's unethical! It's no different than when your cable company increases rates after you sign on with them.nnI will gladly find another storage facility!

I came into the Ashland office get some info and talked to Michelle. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I will need a storage in the near future and will definitely rent from here.

Had a great experience with Prime storage and the manager, Michelle.nBeen Looking for a store unit for quite some time and decided to give prime storage a call. I called after hours and reluctantly left a message, because most other places that I have called never got back with me. The next day I received a phone call from Michelle and she went over some basic details as what was available, prices, and some extras that went along with a package. I told Michelle I would need to come down look at 1 of the units to get an idea that's what I needed . So I drove down and was greeted by Michelle in the front office she went over a few other ideas that I might have overlooked such as boxes for moving supplies locks and so on. She took me down to unit and at first I thought it would be too small but she happen to have a bigger unit right across the area so she took me to that one and I decide that would be perfect. We went back to the office went over all that information that Michelle had discussed with me over that phone signed the agreement and left that day feeling very confident that my belongings will be safe and secure within the building. Thanks Michelle for being so patient and putting my mind at ease.
