I had a great time on the various trails! Pretty views of the reservoir and lots of picnic tables near the water. It is a great middle point between DC and Richmond. There is a small parking area that fills up, so I recommend arriving early.
Great trail network
Love using the trails out here for exercise, or just to get off the couch. Trails are decently maintained but not to the point you don't feel like you're in the woods. I don't recommend using earphones out on the mountain bike trail though, lot of blind turns. I've never had anyone not be super nice to me out there.
Friendly staff and clean water. Definitely will be going there a lot this summer
Easy to moderate walk. Some trails are not marked well and there are areas of disrepair. Must say, there are pretty views of the lake. Lake access is denied right now.
